Neo Legal Consultancy FZ-LLC ("Neo Legal", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect your personal information when you visit neolegal.ae or instruct us as a client.

We handle personal information in accordance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "PDPL") and, where applicable, the data protection regulations of the DIFC and the ADGM.

1. Who we are

Neo Legal Consultancy FZ-LLC is a free-zone establishment registered in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates, at B4-609A6, Business Center 04, RAKEZ Business Zone-FZ. We can be contacted at admin@neolegal.ae.

2. Information we collect

• Information you provide to us: name, email address, phone number, organisation, area of interest, and a description of the matter you wish to discuss — submitted through our contact form, by email, by phone, or in correspondence.
• Information about your visit: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referrer, timestamps) used to operate and secure the site.
• Cookies and similar technologies: we use a minimal set of strictly-necessary cookies. We do not deploy advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries and to deliver legal services where we are formally engaged.
• To comply with our professional, regulatory and legal obligations — including client due diligence and anti-money-laundering obligations under UAE law.
• To operate, secure and improve the website.
• To send you regulatory or practice-area updates only where you have explicitly opted in.

4. Legal basis

We process personal information on the basis of your consent (where you submit a form or opt in), to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, to comply with our legal obligations, and where necessary for our legitimate interests in operating the firm.

5. Sharing your information

Information you provide is treated in confidence. We may share it only:

• with members of the Neo Legal team working on your matter;
• with co-counsel, expert witnesses, regulators, courts or notaries where strictly required for the matter you have instructed us on;
• with our regulated service providers (e.g. secure email and storage providers) under appropriate confidentiality terms; and
• where required by UAE law, court order, or regulatory request.

We do not sell personal information.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers operate outside the UAE. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we ensure it is subject to safeguards equivalent to those required under the UAE PDPL.

7. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as required to provide legal services, comply with our regulatory and legal obligations (including anti-money-laundering record-keeping requirements), and to defend potential claims. Routine enquiry data that does not become a matter is deleted within 24 months.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPL you have the right to: (a) access the personal information we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate information; (c) request deletion or restriction of processing in defined circumstances; (d) object to processing; and (e) withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email admin@neolegal.ae. We will respond within the time limits prescribed by law.

9. Security

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No system is perfectly secure, however, and you should consider this when transmitting sensitive information online.

10. Children

This website is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
