About Manpreet.
Manpreet previously served as Managing Director of Licensing and Compliance at Cander Consulting and, before that, held a pivotal role at the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) — directly involved in developing the UAE regulatory framework for virtual assets that today governs every licensed VASP in Dubai. That regulator-side perspective is a material advantage for clients navigating VARA, ADGM, DIFC and CBUAE applications.
Her earlier career includes financial services and risk roles at KPMG UK and PwC Middle East, giving her broad exposure to the full operational stack of regulated financial businesses — not just the application paperwork, but the live-running compliance reality that follows licence issuance.
Manpreet is multilingual (English, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu) and a senior point of contact for South Asian clients structuring UAE financial-services and digital-asset operations. At Neo Legal she heads the Licensing and Regulatory Compliance practice.
